2026 founding rates · No retainer required.
School — IEP and 504 ADVOCACIES
Free Consult
15–20 min. I listen to your situation, name the next right step, and we both can decide whether or not, it’s a good fit.
Records Review + Plan $400
I review records/evaluations and deliver a written red-flag summary and prioritized plan.
Full IEP Package $950
I review records, prep, and attend one IEP/504 meeting, with a follow-up letter.
Classroom Observation (add-on) — $300 [NEW]
Firsthand evidence the paperwork can't show — brought straight to the IEP table.
Up to 2 hours on-site plus a written summary for the IEP team. Beyond 2 hours or a second visit: $150/hr, agreed with you in advance.
Complex Case Package $1,800
Flat-fee full representation for a complex, multi-meeting dispute: review + repeated prep + multiple meetings + letters, to resolution.
Hourly — à la carte $150/hr
Extra letters, meetings, or phone advocacy outside a package.
Insurance Denial Appeals
Denial Triage $175
I will read the denial and plan docs, map the appeal path and deadlines.
Internal Appeal / Grievance $700
I will draft and assemble the full internal appeal with medical-necessity argument and evidence.
IMR / External Appeal $700
I will build the case and packet, then prepare and file the DMHC IMR (see the note below).
Appeal Bundle $1,300
Internal appeal and IMR/external handled end-to-end as one engagement.
A note on appeals: California's Independent Medical Review (IMR) is free to families — the health plan covers it, not you. You're paying me for the work that can win it — building your medical-necessity case and the full packet — not for the filing itself.
How Payment Works
Flat fees. You pay 50% to reserve your spot and start work, and the remaining 50% when the work is complete.
No retainer, no surprises. You only pay for the package or hours you choose. Many advocates demand $800 up front before lifting a finger. I don't.
Travel included. Up to 60 minutes round-trip for in-person Sacramento County meetings is included.
