I review the records and evaluations and deliver a written red flag summary with a prioritized plan.
Full IEP/504 Package · $950 · Recommended
Records review, full preparation, and attendance in person at one IEP or 504 meeting, plus a follow up letter to the district.
Virtual IEP/504 Package · $700
The same work with attendance by video instead of in person. Available anywhere in California.
Classroom Observation (add-on) · $300
Firsthand evidence the paperwork can't show, brought straight to the IEP table. Up to 2 hours on site plus a written summary for the IEP team.
Beyond 2 hours or a second visit, $150/hr, agreed with you in advance. If the district denies or limits observation access, I refund this add-on in full.
Additional Meeting · $250
One more IEP or 504 meeting for a family already working with me. Existing clients only.
Hourly, à la carte· $150/hr
Extra letters, meetings, or phone advocacy outside a package. Billed in 15-minute increments.
Insurance Denial Appeals
Denial Triage · $175
I read the denial and your plan documents, then map the appeal path and every deadline that applies.
Internal Appeal and Grievance · $700
I draft and assemble the full internal appeal with the medical necessity argument and supporting evidence.
IMR and External Appeal · $700
I build the case and the packet, then prepare and file the external review. See the note below.
Appeal Bundle · $1,300 · Recommended
Internal appeal and external review handled end to end as one engagement. Includes Denial Triage.
Hourly, à la carte· $135/hr
Appeal work outside a defined package. Billed in 15-minute increments.
A note on appeals
California's Independent Medical Review costs you nothing. The state runs it and the health plan bears the cost, not you. What you're paying me for is the work that makes it winnable: building your medical necessity case and assembling the full packet. I handle the submission too.

How payment works
Flat fees quoted up front
You will know the full cost before any work begins.
Everything you pay carries forward
Whatever you have already paid applies toward the larger package that includes that work, so you never pay for the same work twice. Records Review + Plan credits toward either IEP package. Denial Triage credits toward any appeal. The credit is good for 90 days. It does not apply to hourly work or the Classroom Observation add-on.
How it is split
Paid in full when you book: Records Review + Plan, Denial Triage, Classroom Observation, Additional Meeting.
Split 50% to reserve your spot and 50% before your meeting: Full IEP Package, Virtual IEP Package.
Split 50% to start and 50% at filing: Internal Appeal, IMR and External Appeal, Appeal Bundle.
Hourly work is billed after the work is done and is payable within 7 days.
No retainer
You pay for the package or the hours you choose, and nothing more.
Travel included
Up to 60 minutes round trip for in person meetings in Sacramento County. Beyond that, quoted in advance.
Priority scheduling
If your IEP meeting, hearing, or appeal deadline falls inside 10 business days, there is a 25% priority fee, and I take those cases only when my schedule allows. If the deadline is inside 3 business days, I will not take the full engagement. I will help you request a postponement and secure your records instead. If I cannot do the work justice in the time left, I will tell you that on the call.
